Know the room

Berlin's best-known techno club, open since 2004 in a former power station between Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg. RA bills it as "Berghain | Panorama Bar | Säule"; ICYMI treats those rooms as one venue. DJ Mag placed it 16th in its 2025 club poll and 21st in 2026.

Room notes

The main floor is called Berghain; Panorama Bar and Säule are further rooms in the same building. Halle and Kantine am Berghain run their own separate concert and exhibition programmes, so check which room an event is in.

Size

DJ Mag lists a capacity of 1,500. That is DJ Mag's figure for the club, not a per-room number.

Sound

DJ Mag reports a Funktion-One system in the main room.

Access

The entrance is at ground level and a lift links all floors when staff accompany you. Low-barrier toilets are available on request. Guests who cannot queue may ask at the door with a severe-disability pass (50% or more); a companion marked "B" on the pass enters free. The club says entry is guaranteed for no one.

Before you go

Free drinking water is on tap in every restroom area, and staff can take unwell guests to a quiet room on the ground floor. Email support@berghain.de to report an experience afterwards.
