Marcel Dettmann →
Played Berlin 258 times since 2004
Marcel Dettmann's techno has a history reaching back into new wave, post-punk and industrial music. Raised in East Germany, he became part of Berlin's club world, with an OstGut residency beginning in 1999 and a Berghain residency beginning in 2004. Those musical roots give his work a wider frame than the club's name alone.
Anish Kumar →
Played Berlin once since 2026
Anish Kumar is a British-Indian DJ and producer, part of the UK's electronic scene. His debut EP, Postcards, came out in 2022. His records and sets draw on Northern soul and classic Bollywood, with warm analogue sounds and rough-edged sampling. He worked with Armenian DJ Hagop Tchaparian on the Kino release, and was chosen for BBC Radio 1's Essential Mix series.

The venue

Berlin's best-known techno club, open since 2004 in a former power station between Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg. RA bills it as "Berghain | Panorama Bar | Säule"; ICYMI treats those rooms as one venue. DJ Mag placed it 16th in its 2025 club poll and 21st in 2026.
The entrance is at ground level and a lift links all floors when staff accompany you. Low-barrier toilets are available on request. Guests who cannot queue may ask at the door with a severe-disability pass (50% or more); a companion marked "B" on the pass enters free. The club says entry is guaranteed for no one.
