Acid Arab are a Paris electronic group set up in 2012 by the DJs Guido Minisky and Hervé Carvalho. They combine deep club beats, acid house and techno with Arabic instruments, vocals and other Eastern music. Both founders were long-time DJs and residents at the Paris club Chez Moune, and their Acid Arab Collections EPs came out on Versatile Records.

The venue
A renovated Victorian warehouse in Shoreditch, below the old tube carriages hoisted onto the roof in 2006 as artists’ studios. The same team runs EartH in Dalston.
Music events have a raised viewing platform at the back for wheelchair users and seated guests; access tickets are sold on DICE.
