Modeselektor are Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary, an electronic duo from Berlin who play techno and bass-heavy music. They began performing under the name in 1996 and in 2000 they joined BPitch Control, having befriended Ellen Allien. They have also made albums with Apparat under the name Moderat, and their releases include the labels Monkeytown Records and 50 Weapons.

Deetron is the DJ and producer name of Samuel Geiser, a Swiss artist based in Bern. His techno is warm and soulful, drawing on the Detroit sound. He runs the label Character, and his records have come out on Intec, Music Man Records and Ongaku. He has also recorded as Procreation and Soulmate.
