Meet the artists

Technoboy →

Technoboy is Italian DJ and producer Cristiano Giusberti, whose career connects the early Italian hardstyle scene with the music he makes alongside Tuneboy as TNT. His production history runs through labels including Titanic and Dance Pollution. The TNT recordings offer a useful way into the partnership: Hard Beat adds Darren Styles, while 2003 and 2002 are other starting points.

Listen: 2003 ↗

Tuneboy →

Tuneboy is Antonio Donà, an Italian hardstyle producer from Bologna and one half of TNT with Technoboy. His early catalogue includes Housensation, Demolition and I Will Growl, released through the Italian hardstyle label network. The more recent TNT collaborations sit alongside that history, connecting his individual producer identity with the partnership heard on Hard Beat, 2003 and 2002.

Listen: 2003 ↗

D-Block & S-te-Fan →

D-Block & S-te-Fan is the hard-dance partnership of Diederik Bakker and Stefan den Daas. They formed the project after meeting in a record shop in 2004, later developing their own Scantraxx Evolutionz label.

Listen: Harder State Of Mind ↗

DJ Isaac →

DJ Isaac is Dutch hardstyle DJ and producer Roel Schutrups. His records and remixes connect him with artists including D-Block & S-te-Fan, TNT and Dash Berlin. Harder State Of Mind and Berlin introduce the D-Block & S-te-Fan collaborations, while his own Hardstyle Sessions series gives listeners a longer selection of the genre beyond a single recording.

Listen: Harder State Of Mind ↗

Wildstylez →

Wildstylez is Dutch hardstyle producer Joram Metekohy. His history includes Scantraxx releases, Digital Age with Noisecontrollers, and the Project One collaboration with Headhunterz.

Listen: Year Of Summer ↗

Noisecontrollers →

Noisecontrollers is the hardstyle project now continued by Dutch producer Bas Oskam, following Arjan Terpstra's departure from the original duo in 2013. The sound combines forceful kicks with layered melodies and detailed production. Albums such as All Around and All Night Long give that approach more space than a single track, while festival anthems are another strand of the catalogue.

Listen: World of Madness (Defqon.1 Anthem 2012) ↗

Gammer →

Gammer is a UK DJ and producer whose music connects his hardcore roots with hard dance and bass music. His catalogue moves between rave songs and heavier productions rather than staying within one sound. The Drop and Roots on Monstercat are useful background listening; his collaborations and remixes offer further routes into the music he produces.

Listen: Heads Will Roll ↗

Hixxy →

Hixxy is Ian Hicks, a British DJ and producer associated with UK happy hardcore. His history includes Toytown and the Bonkers compilation series, while his later recordings and remixes keep that rave background in view. I Follow Rivers (Deep Sea Baby), made with Darren Styles and Jelle van Dael, and More & More offer accessible song-length introductions.

Listen: Surrender - Hixxy Remix ↗

Stonebank →

Stonebank is British producer Michael Stonebank, whose work grew from UK hardcore into a wider range of electronic music. He previously used the names Modulate and Rocket Pimp before bringing those strands together under Stonebank. Monstercat releases include Stronger, Be Alright and Ripped To Pieces; vocal collaborations with EMEL are a recurring part of the catalogue.

Listen: Stronger ↗

Warface →

Warface is a Dutch raw hardstyle project associated with End of Line Recordings. The music emphasises heavy kicks and a darker atmosphere, with albums and live projects forming a substantial part of the catalogue. Synchronised is a collaboration with D-Sturb; other projects include The 9 Circles, Forgotten Future and Rest In Pieces.
