Roman Flügel is a German DJ and producer from Darmstadt, now based in Berlin after many years in Frankfurt. He has been active since the early 1990s across house, techno, electro and ambient music. He co-founded the labels Ongaku Musik, Klang Elektronik and Playhouse, and he runs Sister Midnight. He records with Jörn Elling Wuttke as Alter Ego and solo as Soylent Green.

The venue
A Gowanus venue founded in 2017 in the old ASPCA headquarters. It has five spaces: the Sound Room for live shows and club nights, the Atrium lounge, the Upstairs listening bar, a vegan café and the outdoor Nursery.
Open Friday 6pm–4am, Saturday 10am–4am and Sunday 10am–9pm; closed Monday and Tuesday. Late club nights mostly start at 11pm.
