Maya Jane Coles is a London-born house producer and DJ of British and Japanese descent. She began with hip-hop and trip-hop, then moved to house, and makes darker, bass-led music as Nocturnal Sunshine. The What They Say EP on Real Tone Records, in 2010, was her breakthrough, and her debut album Comfort followed in 2013 on her own I/AM/ME imprint.
