Honey Dijon's music connects the Chicago house culture she grew up with to a career spanning New York clubs, record production and fashion. Her work puts vocalists and community at the centre of house music, with Black Girl Magic making those connections especially tangible through its collaborators.

The venue
A 50,000-square-foot former factory in Maspeth, Queens, that bills itself as New York’s largest independent music venue. It runs WIRE Festival, Outline and RUSH, and the BASEMENT club sits underneath.
