Purple Disco Machine

Get to know the artist

Purple Disco Machine is German producer and DJ Tino Piontek, whose music brings disco and funk into house. The name nods to Prince and Miami Sound Machine. His catalogue has both vocal crossover songs, such as Hypnotized and In The Dark, and club-focused tracks including Body Funk and Dished (Male Stripper).

Explore the catalogue: Try Hypnotized, Substitution with Julian Perretta and In The Dark for the vocal side, then Body Funk for a more club-focused starting point.
Remix route: His remix of Lizzo’s About Damn Time won a Grammy. Remixes for Dua Lipa, Calvin Harris and Lady Gaga with Ariana Grande offer another route into how he reshapes pop songs for the dancefloor.
