Get to know the artist

Kenji Takimi is a Japanese DJ and producer working in leftfield and alternative disco. He runs the label Crue-L Records and records under aliases and projects including Crue-L Grand Orchestra, Luger E-Go and Being Borings. His remixes include work for Hiroshi Fujiwara, Cornelius, Dimitri From Paris and Cut Copy.

On the road

He played the Electric Elephant festival in Croatia in 2009, 2011 and 2012, and he has shared bills with Andrew Weatherall, DJ Harvey, Theo Parrish and Optimo.
